Accountants, Payroll Assistants, Finance Assistants, Managers and Bookkeepers (East Sussex)
We are recruiting for Accountants, Payroll Assistants, Finance Assistants, Managers and Bookkeepers at all levels of experience in East Sussex. You must be well presented, a quick learner, and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. This is temporary ongoing work which can be permanent for the right candidate.
Main Duties
Data Entry
Filing and keeping records updated
Auditing financial documents and procedures
Reconciling bank statements
Calculating tax payments and returns
Bookkeeping
Prepare budget forecasts
Inputting and processing payroll
Dealing with bank payments
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Comply with financial policies and regulations
Working within a team as well as independently
Providing support to other staff members if needed
Perform any other duties as and when required
Represent the organisation to a high standard at all times
Qualification’s Skills and Experience
Good level of education
Computer literate
Attention to detail
Experience in Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, TaxCalc and other software’s would be an advantage
AAT qualification would be an advantage
Experience in a finance environment would be an advantage
Experience in VAT, imports and exports, self-assessments, corporation tax and manager accounts would be an advantage.
Must be able to work individually as well as in a team
Must have good communication skills and interpersonal skills
Must be able to make own way to and from work as transport is not provided by the agency
Hours
Full time and part time hours
Office based and remote work
