CNC Operator (Ashford)

Our Client is based in Ashford and they are looking for a CNC Operator to join their team. They are looking for an experienced operator or a college leaver looking to start a career for a prestigious Company.

Main Duties

• EDM or electrical discharge machine operating

• Setting up and programming of EDM equipment

• Ensure proper functioning, when making precision parts for toolmakers and designers.

• As an EDM operator, you work with sinker EDM machining solutions.

• Working to tight tolerances and deadlines

• Ensure you carry out company Health & Safety procedures at all times

• Keep shop floor and workspace clean and tidy

• Carry out other duties as and when required

• Quality checking finished work

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified CNC Operator with previous experience of either spark or wire erosion, ideally on Sodick machinery or a newly qualified college graduate

• Strong all-round skills and be able to multitask

• Have a practical understanding of the tooling/jigging required

Working Hours

Mondays to Fridays

8 Hours per Day
