Electrical Assembler (Hastings)

Our client is currently recruiting for experienced Electrical/PBC Assemblers to join their team. But also, open to potential candidates, who are looking for a career in bespoke assembly work.



Main Duties

  • The level of work may vary in line with the workload from wiring, PCB assembly, fine soldering, gluing and bulk mechanical assembly work

  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in line with the health and safety policy

  • Report any problems that is having an effect on production to the team leader or manufacturing manager

  • Report any concerns regarding quality of components or another operative’s work to the team leader or manufacturing manager

  • Ensure knowledge is maintained of current works instructions and procedures

  • Maintain a good level of personal hygiene

  • Be courteous and well-mannered at all times

  • To assist in the review and update (where necessary) of all work instructions and procedures

  • In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may be reasonably required.


Skills and Experience

  • Previous PCB Board, crimping, fine soldering, wiring and electrical experience preferred

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work as a team

  • Ability to work independently

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Willing to learn new skills


Working Hours

  • Mondays to Fridays

  • Between 7am to 5.00pm

  • Optional late shift hours, depending on workload

  • Optional overtime
