Part-time Traffic Dispatch Administrator (Maidstone)
Our client is an industry leading waste management company looking for a Part
Time Traffic Dispatcher Administrator to join their team.
Day to day management of operational staff.
Managing route efficiency and utilisation
Inputting wages onto payroll system
Proactive vehicle management, including liaison with fleet, vehicle operations, wheel security, monitor any overweight’s
Supervise vehicle availability daily, ensuring that drivers have completed their checks in accordance with company policy.
Contribute toward ongoing cost control, actively seeking to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. E.g. Running and analysing depot reports.
Ensure all administrative tasks associated with the dispatch office are completed, including time sheets tacho records, payroll, holiday rota’s, resolutions of QLS (Invoice query).
Monitor service levels and suggest corrective action where appropriate.
For unplanned and unscheduled work, the controller is required to plan and mobile and resources according to the customer needs.
Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
Resolve invoice and service queries on behalf of customer
Answering CRS – Customer response logs – customer requests
Debriefing drivers, challenging upon debrief, amending routes, saving routes, inputting weighbridge ticket
Reports – unconfirmed work/validation/invoice queries through QLS on central.
Education, Training and Experience
Proven office administration skills
Excellent attention to detail
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
Used to working to deadlines – able to prioritise
Very customer service focused
Methodical and able to work under pressure
Good telephone manner
Motivated team player
Able to work using own initiative
Good maths skills-required to check quotation figures are correct
IT literate – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
Good level of education
Good data entry and inputting skills
Must have own transport due to location
Three days a week Monday/Tuesday/Thursday
8.30 – 5pm (however flexible on hours if needed)
