Post Completion Case Handler (Hastings)

Our client is one of the largest and most successful estate agency and property services providers in the UK. They are looking for a Post Completion Case Handler to join their team in the Hastings office.

This would suit a person with a background of working in a Remortgage/Conveyancing or similar environment or with experience in running their own case load.

Main Duties:

  • Supervised by the Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a caseload on a day to day basis, which includes all aspects of the Post Completion process following Legal completion.

  • Daily tasks will include; preparing application forms and submitting complex and non-complex matters to the Land Registry, as allocated by your Team Manager.

  • Deal with Land Registry Requisitions and liaise with Land Registry.

  • Liaise with Legal Teams and third parties, when additional information and/or documents are required/outstanding.

  • Monitor the Registration progress, and keep Lenders informed, using the relevant platforms where applicable.

  • Ensure files are stripped ready for closing.

  • You will assist with daily reporting, and in the Team Manager’s absence, issue the appropriate email reminders, raising any urgent matters to the relevant Team Managers.

  • As the role progresses, you will assist with queries, training and development.

  • Full training will be given, and this role has the potential to develop into a Senior Role.

  • Knowledge of Case Management Systems

  • Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this role.


  • Monday to Friday

  • 9am to 5pm

  • On occasion you may be required to work Saturdays and Lates (Approximately once every 6 months if that.)

  • Saturday – 9.30am to 4.30pm

  • Lates – 10.30am to 7pm
