Press Brake Operator (Robertsbridge)

Due to their continual growth our client is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their team. Our client would be happy to train up the right person if they have some previous experience in a workshop environment.

Main Duties:

• Operation of the Press Brake.

• Machine maintenance and log.

• Managing their time and recording all work accurately on the time sheets provided.

• Managing and working from issued drawings and signing off work as required.

• Reporting health and safety and process issues to the management team.

• To follow all processes and procedures contained within the ISO9001 / BSEN1090 QMS.

• Assisting with the goods in and goods out process.

• Workshop housekeeping.

• Operation of the laser cutter when required.

• Any other task as directed by the Production Manager/Director.

Qualification’s Skills and Experience:

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Flexible in task priorities.

• Friendly disposition, personable and enjoys working.

• Self-disciplined with great time management skills.

• Full valid UK driving licence required.

• Fabrication workshop experience desirable.

• Steel machinery experience (laser machines, press brake, milling machines, lathes etc), but ideally the relevant machine to the job role.

• Experience of reading engineering drawings would be desirable.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday

• 6am – 2.30pm
