Production Administrator (Hastings)

Our client who operates a reputable company based in Hastings is looking for a Production Assistant to join their team. It will be working across their production department and their technical department assisting the department managers.
Production Department Duties:
Take minutes at meetings. Confidentiality is essential due to the nature of some of the meetings.
Weekly and monthly reports.
Check TimeMoto for inconsistencies, create overtime forms and late reports if required and inform management of any issues.
Check Goods In and clearing of Production departments daily.
Organise weekly Supervisor’s meetings, take minutes and distribute as required. Follow up on any points that require it.
Filing. Confidentiality is essential due to the nature of some of the documents.
Invoice queries – check invoices and advise of any discrepancies.
Daily/weekly forward planning for key materials.
Production overview reports.
Assist with IT Training and development.
Assist with departmental and annual costings.
Set up or amend codes, BOMS and routes ensuring costings are correct.
Assist with the manufacturing stock take.
Assist with Product Development.
Provide cover for the Production Assistant role in their absence.
Technical Department Duties:
Review answers from the technical group and save the more useful ones to the Solutions page in Freshdesk.
Arrange and attend Product Development and Bought In Development meetings, take notes and distribute to all group members. Ensure all relevant people attend the meetings dependent upon the requirements at the time.
Oversee the Product Development and Bought In Development administrative process, ensuring all paperwork is complete and actions are completed on time.
As part of the Product Development process obtain costings and timings from departments as required.
As part of the Product Development process research patents and copyrights.
Product Development research.
Document Product Development testing procedures.
General administration tasks to assist the Technical Manager.
To carry out other duties as and when required to facilitate the effective operation of the department and company as directed by the Production Manager, Technical Manager, Operations Manager, Directors or other Snr Managers.
Qualification’s Skills and Experience
Good Excel skills
Good general administrative experience
Experience of working in a Production office would be a bonus.
