PSV Driver (Hastings)

Our respectable client is looking to employ an experienced PSV driver to become part of their established team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in their daily duties.

Main Duties

  • To safely transport passengers from one destination to another.

  • Carry out morning and evening runs.

  • Ensuring vehicle has sufficient fuel to carry out the required journey.

  • To carry out vehicle maintenance checks.

  • Comply with driving rules and as well as the company policies and procedures.

  • Helping passengers with their bags and other luggage

  • Report any defects, accidents or violations to the company office

  • Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned and checked daily

  • Respond to passenger enquiries and resolve their complaints and inform management

  • Informing management of any traffic hazards and other issues delaying arrival or departure times

Qualification’s Skills and Experience

  • The applicant should have a clear enhanced DBS check.

  • An understanding of the sensitivity of transporting vulnerable people.

  • Must be able to work weekends if and when required.

  • PSV driving qualification (D or D1).

  • Valid driver CPC card.

  • Valid digital Tacho card.

Working Hours

  • Mondays to Fridays

  • 30 hours per week plus overtime (When available)

  • Weekends if required


  • Company pension

  • All additional work over contractual hours will be classed as overtime.

  • Time plus 50% for Saturday work

  • Double time for Sunday work
