Receptionist (Hastings)

We are looking for a receptionist to join a busy office working 30 hours per week. The office is based in Hastings, within a Recruitment Business.


  • Must have a friendly interaction and communication with customers/clients and co-workers

  • Able to deal with difficult clients and customers, via face to face and telephone

  • Maintain important employee and office records

  • Ability to handle a multi-line inbound phone call system

  • Assist fellow co-workers when called upon with administration duties

  • Use a computer efficiently and effectively

  • Strong organizational abilities

  • Data entry skills

  • Booking in appointments

  • Sorting incoming and outgoing mail

  • Keep reception area clean and tidy

  • Carry out all administration/secretarial duties as and when required


  • Good level of education in Math’s and English

  • Computer literate in Excel, Word

  • Previous receptionist/administration/secretarial experience

  • Must be able to work on own initiative

  • Previous experience working in a busy work environment

  • Excellent communication skills


  • Working 5 days a week

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9am to 3pm

  • Company Pension
