Recruitment Resourcer (Hastings)

We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our expanding Company based in Hastings. This is an exciting opportunity to get your foot in the door of a busy, fast-paced and successful recruitment agency.


Main Duties

The role will be to attract candidates by drafting high quality adverts, using a wide range of media to gain traction and using recruitment platforms to source potential candidates. It will also involve networking, headhunting and through referrals. The next part of the process would then include screening, interviewing and completing background checks on candidates before they are put forward by consultants. In this role you will be required to contact candidates regularly and provide advice to them on salary, training and career opportunities.


Duties include:

  • Resourcing and attracting candidates through high quality adverts

  • Managing the database and generating new candidates

  • Screening and interviewing candidates

  • Matching candidates to suitable job roles

  • Arranging interviews

  • Administration related to the vetting procedure.

  • Dealing with any general queries


Tasks Expected:

  • Formatting CV’s

  • Building a candidate pipeline – attraction, selection and conversion

  • Obtaining candidate’s weekly availability

  • Creating bookings on the in-house recruitment software

  • Sourcing candidates through various channels

  • Supporting experienced consultants in filling bookings, as required

  • Conducting candidate interviews on and offsite

  • Gaining references

  • Gaining market knowledge


You must be:

  • Self-motivated and proactive.

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to achieve targets and objectives set

  • Able to show an understanding of urgency.

  • Confident in speaking with candidates regularly (phones and face to face)

  • Able to use open ended questions to gain understanding of the candidate’s background, strengths, weaknesses and career gaps.

  • Professional at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A-C Grade English and Math’s GCSE or equivalent

  • Previous experience of working within an office environment

  • Able to learn; able to multi-task and prioritize; attention to detail

  • Must have a professional manner; team player, resilient, calm under pressure, self-motivating; common sense; able to deal all communications

  • Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and able to use website platforms
