Our client is looking for a Telesales Person to join their company based in Hastings. The role is office based with no travelling; they do not offer hybrid working. The salary is basic national minimum hourly wage and the commission is a percentage of the net profit paid, based on the cost of goods sold. The higher the price of the sale, the higher the commission.
Main Duties
Make 200 to 300 daily outgoing sales-based phone calls using Company client database.
Work towards increasing business and build good working relationships with internal and external customers.
Keep records of calls and sales notes using the Company system.
Update Company data system with necessary details and liaise with other departments to ensure company data systems are kept up to date, including GDPR compliance.
Understand the product ranges
Direct prospective customers or new business from existing customers to the Sales Co-ordinator or Account Manager when needed.
Assist other departments when needed.
Skills
Excellent telephone manner.
Excellent communication skills.
Administrative and IT skills are essential.
Organised and able to work to deadlines.
Worked within a telesales environment is essential.
Hours
Full time
Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm
