Telesales Person (Hastings)

Our client is looking for a Telesales Person to join their company based in Hastings.  The role is office based with no travelling; they do not offer hybrid working. The salary is basic national minimum hourly wage and the commission is a percentage of the net profit paid, based on the cost of goods sold. The higher the price of the sale, the higher the commission. 

 

Main Duties

  • Make 200 to 300 daily outgoing sales-based phone calls using Company client database.

  • Work towards increasing business and build good working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Keep records of calls and sales notes using the Company system.

  • Update Company data system with necessary details and liaise with other departments to ensure company data systems are kept up to date, including GDPR compliance.

  • Understand the product ranges

  • Direct prospective customers or new business from existing customers to the Sales Co-ordinator or Account Manager when needed.

  • Assist other departments when needed.

 

Skills

  • Excellent telephone manner.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Administrative and IT skills are essential.

  • Organised and able to work to deadlines.   

  • Worked within a telesales environment is essential.

 

Hours

  • Full time

  • Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm
