Trainee Industrial Sewing Machinist (East Sussex)

We are looking for Trainee Industrial Sewing Machinists for our client to assist with the manufacturing of products. The positions give candidates to develop within the Company structure. You must have some basic experience with home sewing so that you understand the basic fundamentals of sewing.

Main Duties

• Training given to below job description

o The main duties of this role will be to manufacture the various products using different types of Industrial machines.

o The candidate will machine, stitch and repair products

o Machining zips into products

o Machining various materials

o Working from patterns

o Working knowledge of heavy fabrics

Skills and Experience

• You must have some basic experience with home sewing so that you understand the basic fundamentals of sewing.

• Be able to work towards deadlines and work efficiently whilst using their own initiative, individually and in a team.

• Must have a positive attitude

Mondays to Fridays
