Senior Learning & Development coordinator

Job Description

Our client who operate a reputable company in St Leonards have an exciting vacancy available for a Senior Learning and Development Coordinator who will play a key role in the business overall, reporting to the Learning and Development Manager as well as liaising with other Team Leaders or Managers within the company about the delivery  

 

The ideal candidate must have experience in the conveyancing of property.

Main Duties

  • Deliver appropriate training in lines with business needs and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date at all times
  • Deliver training to new and existing employees within the company as appropriate in line with the business regulatory policies
  • Develop and maintain personal development plans for staff
  • Flag / report any training issues and contribute to putting measures in place including clear progression paths throughout the business
  • Identify training needs and demands within the company working with team managers to identify, change, update or develop learning and development opportunities
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on legalisation relevant to training and disseminate new requirements appropriately to colleagues
  • Compile reports and manage information as required to include training attendance records, feedback from staff etc.
  • To identify, take part in and pilot projects which align with the organisations strategy of training and development of staff
  • Ensure learning objectives are met and training information is being clearly portrayed / communicated
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to legal colleagues including: Associate Property Lawyers, Legal Assistants, Team Assistants, Apprentices and others
  • Reinforce company values and culture by maintaining a positive working attitude and flexible approach to work
  • Attend internal and external training course where applicable / required
  • Assist in the delivery of CPD courses to Lawyers
  • Help, support and assist in other departments as and when required
  • Other duties and responsibilities as the roe develops/grows

 

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Licensed Conveyancer (Essential)
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (C or Above)
  • Experience working in conveyancing (Essential)
  • Experience working in a learning and development environment (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and personable
  • Experience providing training/presentations to individuals and teams
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Helpful and positive attitude
  • Flexible attitude to working practices and demands
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Good literacy and computer skills, especially word, PPT and Excel
  • Strong organisation, planning, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work alone as well as within a team
