HGV Hiab Driver
Our client is looking for an experienced permanent HGV HIAB driver to join their company, based near East Grinstead. The candidate must have a valid HIAB licence with hook and brick grab, must be experienced in driving up to a 26 Tonne vehicle and have no more than 6 points on their driving licence.
Main Duties
To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business.
Performing deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required.
Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users.
Check equipment has been loaded/unloaded in a safe manner.
Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limited.
Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle.
Carry out all H&S procedures, whilst delivering for the company.
Check paperwork to see that the delivery/collection loads are correct.
Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for.
Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded.
Delivering throughout Kent and East Sussex.
Qualifications And Experience
Holds a full clean driving licence valid in the UK, with no more than 6 points on licence.
Holds a valid HGV driving licence.
Holds a valid CPC licence.
Holds a valid HIAB Licence with hook and brick grab.
Holds a valid Digi Tacho Card.
Must have experience driving a 26 Tonne vehicle.
Good personal presentation.
Able to carry out manual handling tasks.
Working Hours
Mondays to Fridays, no weekends.
Working hours are between 6am to 5pm.
