Dental Receptionist

Our client is looking for a dental receptionist for their busy dental surgery. The role can be a very demanding one within a dental office setting.

MAIN DUTIES

·        Must have a friendly interaction and communication with patients and co-workers.

  • Maintain important patient and office records.

  • Ability to handle a multi-line inbound phone call system.

  • Assist fellow co-workers when called upon.

  • Use a computer efficiently and effectively.

  • Ability to perform administrative duties.

·        Strong organizational abilities.

·        Data entry skills.

·        In charge of making sure the waiting room and office area look nice, by picking up litter left around the room, emptying wastebaskets, and straightening magazines and newspapers.

·        Confirm next day's appointments and next week's recalls scheduled 6 months in advance.

·        Get mail, enter and scan payments and referral documents.

·        Keep reception area clean and tidy.

·        Carry out all administration/secretarial duties as and when required.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·        Good level of education.

·        Computer literate.

·        Previous receptionist/administration/secretarial experience.

·        Must be able to work on own initiative.

·        Previous experience in a dental surgery as a receptionist preferred.

 

WORKING HOURS

·        Monday to Friday.

·        9am to 5.30pm.
