Forklift Yards Person

We are recruiting for Forklift Yards persons for our client based near Rye, East Sussex. You will be a key member of a small team, you will work with colleagues to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their yards. You must have a valid Teletruk licence or Counterbalance licence. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right person. You must have your own transport, due to location as no public transport.

Main Duties

• Operate Teletruk, shovel and other workplace equipment.

• Safely operate industrial vehicles to load, unload, move, and stack goods within the yards.

• Performing pre-shift safety checks on equipment, maintaining a clean workspace, and following all company safety procedures. 

• The efficient organisation and storage of all materials.

• The maintenance of accurate stock records.

• The Inspection and documentation of workplace equipment.

• A commitment to the Company’s values and procedures.

Qualifications And Experience

• Must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence or Valid Teletruk Licence (preferred)

• Must have previous yard work experience

• Good communications skills

  Good personal presentation

Be able to deliver a high level of customer service 

Working Hours

• Mondays to Fridays

7.30am to 4.30pm
