Industrial Embroidery Machinist (Hastings)

Our client, a prestigious company based in Hastings, is seeking Industrial Embroidery Machinists to join their Clothing and Equipment Department on a temporary-to-permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cottons, bobbins, and embroidery processes. Previous experience in embroidery machining (advantageous but not essential. Experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred). Full training will be provided on the machines.

Main Duties

•   Operate and monitor embroidery machines to produce quality embroidery on various textiles.

•    Interpret and programme embroidery designs on machines accordingly.

•    Ensure machine is running correctly on each run of clothing

•    Ensure accurate thread colours and design placements according to specifications.

•    Load cottons, bobbins and set up setting for each clothing run

•    Prepare clothing for embroidery machines

•    Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

•    Maintain an organised and safe working environment.

•    Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production schedules.

  
  

Skills and Qualifications

• ·    Knowledge of cottons, bobbins, and embroidery processes

•      Previous experience in embroidery machining (advantageous but not essential)

•    Experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred)

•      Ability to read and interpret design specifications.

•      Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

•      Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

•      Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.

•      Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and practices.

Working Hours

• Days:  Mondays to Thursdays = £13.00 per hour and Sundays = £17.00 per hour

• Hours: 2.15pm to 10.45pm
