We are looking for an experienced Soldering/Electrical Assembler to join our client’s team in Hastings. This role requires experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in electrical assembly, soldering, and product assembly work. While this is a temporary position, it could lead to a permanent role for the right applicant.
Main Duties
As a Soldering/Electrical Assembler, your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating effectively with team members and colleagues.
Managing fluctuations in workload.
Following product-specific test procedures.
Complying with company policies and procedures.
Adhering to health and safety policies.
Working to quality assurance standards, specifically ISO 9001.
Identifying components and understanding colour codes.
Interpreting and working from technical drawings.
Performing wiring and soldering assembly tasks.
Engaging in electrical assembly.
Participating in production assembly activities.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail.
Preferred experience in soldering.
Proven experience in electrical assembly.
Familiarity with product assembly.
A qualification in electronics is preferred but not essential.
Due to the location, own transport is required.
Working Hours
The working hours for this position are:
Monday to Friday.
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
A 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
