Job Opportunity: Soldering/Electrical Assembler in Hastings

We are looking for an experienced Soldering/Electrical Assembler to join our client’s team in Hastings. This role requires experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in electrical assembly, soldering, and product assembly work. While this is a temporary position, it could lead to a permanent role for the right applicant.


Main Duties


As a Soldering/Electrical Assembler, your responsibilities will include:


  • Collaborating effectively with team members and colleagues.

  • Managing fluctuations in workload.

  • Following product-specific test procedures.

  • Complying with company policies and procedures.

  • Adhering to health and safety policies.

  • Working to quality assurance standards, specifically ISO 9001.

  • Identifying components and understanding colour codes.

  • Interpreting and working from technical drawings.

  • Performing wiring and soldering assembly tasks.

  • Engaging in electrical assembly.

  • Participating in production assembly activities.


Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:


  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Preferred experience in soldering.

  • Proven experience in electrical assembly.

  • Familiarity with product assembly.

  • A qualification in electronics is preferred but not essential.

  • Due to the location, own transport is required.


Working Hours


The working hours for this position are:


  • Monday to Friday.

  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

  • A 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
