Our Prestigious client in a manufacturing company, based in Hastings. Our client has a comprehensive portfolio of products, fully integrated and built to serve their customers. They are looking for a Quality Assurance person to join their team in the Hastings manufacturing site on a fixed term contract until 31.12.2026, may go permanent.
Main Duties
• Provide support for the maintenance and improvement of the local Quality Management Systems in line with Company Quality Policy, Global Directives and Procedures.
• Provide quality support to the Hastings manufacturing operations.
• Personal responsibility to actively contribute to supporting and growing the business as per the annual operational and quality plans, targets and objectives.
• Contribute to the execution of Site Quality Operations.
• Conduct incoming goods inspection and release of goods.
• Monitor and support product verification and release (e.g. product release spot check, product audit).
• Coordinate maintenance of site documentation in the Document Control System (GDMS) and maintain Quality Department Archive up to date.
• Supply relevant internal documentation for the points of use in Production area.
• Update local procedures as applicable.
• Support Customer Complaints evaluations.
• Conduct Suppliers Qualification and maintain Catsweb Suppliers Files up to date.
• Support CAPA’s investigations, implementation and effectiveness check.
• Conduct Plant tours and Data Integrity Checks per schedule/ on cause.
• Assist in preparation and execution of Internal Audit and Supplier Audit Programs.
• Assist in preparation of Notified Body Audits.
• Assist in preparation of Quality Reports and Management Reviews and participate in Production and Quality meetings.
• Provide GMP training per request.
• This role has a direct impact on customer / patient safety and satisfaction, and the job holder has personal accountability to their own performance and quality targets in support of the site’s operational and quality objectives.
• Responsible for ensuring personal tasks are being carried out to Standard Operating Procedures and in line with the Company Quality Management System.
• Direct support of the business to ensure all products provided to the market meet quality standards and requirements.
• Work in direct support of the Quality Operations Lead.
• This role carries no direct budgetary responsibility.
Qualification’s Skills and Experience
• Quality Management System and Good Manufacturing Practice Standard Operations Procedures writing and Documents and Records Control.
• NC/CAPA/ Complaints investigation.
• Suppliers Management.
• Inventory Management.
• Internal Auditor.
• Computer literate.
• Investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Detailed and accurate approach to tasks.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with good inter-personal skills.
• Technically competent in data analysis, report writing.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and control own workload with the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of appropriate regulatory aspects.
• Qualified auditor to ISO standards.
